Architecture in the Humanties lithograph image

This database connects a piece of architecture to works of literature, film, theater, and art. The connection is made by way of historical or fictional events that took place in the building and are also depicted in other works. The purpose is to demonstrate how architecture's physical attributes imbue these events with certain meanings. The database uses recently developed digital technologies to integrate humanities scholarships into a single relational database.

The database can be approached by any of the above disciplines, and the navigations from one discipline to another are self-explanatory. The entry selection is meant to be relevant to secondary, and post-secondary education, and the relational information is expected to facilitate a deeper understanding of the materials.
